Michael Spencer is the drummer in the Michigan Celtic band, CrossBow

In 2014 Mike began filling in as an alternate with CrossBow, until he joined as a member in October 2016. However, Mike is no newbie. He began drumming around the age of eight, and began annoying his teachers by tapping pencils on his desk much earlier than that. Between tap-drags and diddles, he also enjoys singing and playing guitar and learning how to play the Irish tenor banjo.​

Outside of CrossBow Mike enjoys reading, his favorite authors are John Steinbeck and George Orwell. Other interests include cooking, scotch, and tea.​
